Mehdi’s love for agriculture transcends beyond cultivation and harvesting. His fascination with drying plants has led him to scale his operations, preparing several large orders annually for reputable companies that process plants. Originally hailing from Tehran, Ali’s passion led him to migrate to Golestan province, a thriving agricultural hub located about four hundred kilometers away.

Golestan is home to a significant portion of the Hyrcanian forests, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018. These forests, named after the ancient name of Gorgan – Hyrkan, form a green belt stretching from the Gorgan Plain to a part of Azerbaijan. They house the most diverse plant and animal species in the area, making up about 25% of the Hyrcanian forests.

Golestan province boasts eight of the thirteen known climates in the world, including temperate humid, Mediterranean temperate, dry temperate, mountainous temperate, cold mountainous, cold dry, semi-arid, and dry climates.
